Back to school!

Wow, this year is just flying by!!  We've had another great month!

First, stitching.  Not much news there.  I'm doing great on my Stitch From Stash challenge.  $0 spent again this month!!!  I'm working on a model for X's & Oh's & she sent me all the supplies so that was easy!  Check out all the other blogs in the Stitch From Stash challenge.  https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGWLBoH9gA6FZRstNIKwZNUla_Gl7JqcZKUX2CW68-kPlw3Myl7J00jQK1QkD70OdmsfkSBumu3TXTc9t696JvPd8u_27iS_FTuN4WQZzl5sZB-kRbBVChZYiVWYnfTe_174eyUFr1-lk/s1600/SFS2014-button.png

After 4 years of homeschooling, Mariah has chosen to go back to public school.  On the one hand, I'm happy for her.  She'll meet lots of new kids & hopefully make lots of friends.  With me working full time, it takes a lot of pressure off of me to homeschool her in evenings & on the weekends.  On the other hand, I'm worried for her.  I remember all the nightmares we had before & am praying non stop that the school will work with her this time.  We picked up her schedule last night & she's excited because, in addition to all her other classes, she has piano keyboard every afternoon!  She also signed up for a reading club that meets once a month.

Well, that's it for now.  How did YOU do?

  1. Berly I will think of her every day and hope this new school is the perfect fit for her. Love the dog picture. Is that the model you are stitching?

  2. Congrats on your zero spending this month! The stitching looks great.

I'll be thinking of your daughter as she goes back into public schooling. What grade is she going into? My girls went back into public schooling when they were in junior high and they did really well. There was new administration at the school and that was big help.
